I have been photographing almost anything for over 40 years, from my first camera when I was just 9. I have come a long way since then, using a variety of different camera systems including traditional 35mm film, Large Format camera's and digital. My career into photography happened by accident with friends asking for Weddings and special occasions to be photographed.

 

These early experiences allowed time to gain exp

erience working as an assistant photographer for several established photographers. Along with my practical experience, I have also gained qualifications in Photography with a BA (Hon's) First Class at the University of Bolton and have also achieved the award of Associate of the RPS (ARPS) with the Royal Photographic Society.

 

My passion for photography is with Landscape, Documentary and Fine Art genre’s of photography. I have photographs which have been included in an exhibition at the Bradford Industrial Museum, Photographs that have been on display in the Peoples Gallery at the Photography Show as well as being featured on BBC local news and shortlisted for the Love Oldham photography competition in 2012 and 2013. Documentary work has also been used in the Oldham Chronicle, Oldham advertiser and Rochdale Observer newspapers.
